help me, good Lord
so I want to open myself up
direct my mind only to You
so that I do not give priority to worldly things
accompany me, Lord, who is good
so that I can turn away from falsehood
and avert my mind
from the world with various noise
so that I don't feel satisfied again
when I place my ears
only in pseudo-delusions
give me thy mercy, good Lord
so that I may rejoice in thinking about You
fear asking for Your protection
so that I rely on Your favor
and busy to love You
consecrate my heart and mind, Lord is good
to know my decay and depravity
and humiliating and melting me down
under the strength and power of Your hand
so that I mourn my sins
and cleanse myself of them
so that I will always be diligent in penance
for this mortal purification of myself
because I want to be more meaningful to You
