• He could lead if he would get the lead out. (lead: memimpin; the lead: petunjuk)

• The soldier decided to desert his dessert in the desert. (to desert: meninggalkan; dessert: makanan pencuci mulut; the desert: padang gurun)

• When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes. (the dove: merpati; dove: terjun)

• The insurance was invalid for the invalid. (invalid: cacat; the invalid: penderita cacat)

• They were too close to the door to close it. (close: dekat; to close: menutup)
